Abstract
Anaphylactic shock in the rabbit is not suppressed by a previous fixation of circulating complement. However, complement plays a secondary role in the mechanism of hypotension because decomplementation inhibits the formation of plasma-kinins. Therefore, kinin liberation cannot t the only factor which causes the lethal collapse of rabbits in anaphy-] atic shock. Keywords
