Abstract
✓ The authors report a patient who became comatose from an unsuspected epidural hematoma over the occipital and suboccipital areas 3 hours after removal of a huge subfrontal meningioma. The correct diagnosis was eventually made by angiography 27 days postoperatively. This most unusual complication should be considered when unexplained deterioration occurs immediately after frontal tumor removal. Keywords
