Abstract
Women with severe acne were treated with a combination of estrogen [ethinyl estradiol and norethisterone] and a low dose of glucocorticoid [prednisone] daily to suppress their androgen production. This combination therapy reduced their sebum production by 50% with a concomitant improvement in their acne. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
