Abstract
A radioimmunoassay (RIA) has been developed for the determination of picogram amounts of aescine, an antiinflammatory and anti-oedematous qlycoside mixture from unpurified extracts of Aesculus hippocastanum. Practically no interference is observed for various potentially crossreactinq compounds. This RIA covers the range 100 pq - 50 nq, within which acceptable accuracy and precision are obtained. Keywords
