Abstract
The response of seminal vesicles in castrate [female] rats to testosterone propionate has been used as a criterion of androgenic activity. The assay was designed, so that a comparison could be made between standard and unknown solns. of testosterone propionate at 2 dose levels. Statistical treatment of the data yields an estimate of the potency of the unknown together with its standard error. Two assays carried simultaneously on an (unknown) 10 mg./ml. sample of testosterone propionate gave values of 10.72 mg. and 926 mg. respectively:.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
