Abstract
Light-induced electron spin resonance in a Langmuir-Blodgett film of pure merocyanine dye with a long hydrocarbon chain has been observed clearly for the first time. When monochromatic light was irradiated on the dye film, the intensity of the electron spin resonance signal grew twice as compared with the dark one without irradiation. Its lifetime was found to be about 15 min. Also the light-induced signal in a Langmuir-Blodgett film of diluted dye has been detected and its lifetime was about 30 min. Keywords
