Abstract
Both sexes of Paraeuchaeta antarctica, P. erebi and P. similis, and the males of P. tycodesma are recorded in the winter zooplankton under the ice in McMurdo Sound, Ross Sea, Antarctica; P. erebi and P. tycodesma are recorded for the 2nd time. The males of P. erebi, P. similis and P. tycodesma are described and distinguished from P. antarctica. These males are separated by subtle differences in the terminal part of the left 5th leg and by the size of their spermatophore and the shape of its adhesive body. P. antarctica, P. erebi and P. similis are apparently in different reproductive states in winter. Spermatophores of P. antarctica were attached to 2 females of P. erebi.
