Abstract
The genetic characteristics of a strain of waltzing guinea pigs with hereditary progressive deafness has been studied. The mode of inheritance was found to be due to a monohybrid dominant Mendelian autosomal gene with a recessive lethal effect and with full expressivity and penetrance.Keywords
