Abstract
The phenotypic variations of properdin factor B (Bf) and gene frequencies are reported in four tribal groups from different regions in Himachal Pradesh, a highland state in northern India. There are marked inter-regional and inter-population differences in Bf allele frequencies. The allele frequencies also show striking differences when compared with the other continental populations. Keywords
