Abstract
A case of immediate hypersensitivity of the chemotherapeutic agent etoposide is reported. The clinical details of the case and features of previously reported cases are outlined. An attempt to re-treat the patient with etoposide was unsuccessful despite vigorous premedication, in contrast to previous reports. The mechanism of hypersensitivity to this agent is still to be elucidated. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
