Abstract
The inclusion of a chapter on the production of biologicals by plant cell cultures in this volume is both appropriate and timely. The topic is timely because the production of a biological by plant cell cultures on commercial scale may be operational within five years. The primary purpose of this chapter is to review the current state of knowledge of plant cell culture as it bears on the production of biologicals. Keywords
