Abstract
A new non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug {DA 2370) was administered in single or repeated doses to 20 patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis with marked articular effusion. The levels of the drug in the serum and in the synovial fluid were determined. The results indicate a good penetration of DA 2370 across the synovial membrane into the joint space even if its concentration in the synovial fluid is lower than its concentration in the serum. Keywords
