Abstract
Twelve patients with missed abortion or fetal death were induced by the extra-amniotic instillation of Rivanol (6.9-diamino-2-oxyethylacridin lactate). Delivery was achieved in all patients with a mean induction-delivery time of 15.3 hours (range 7.1-21.7). There were no complications or side-effects. It is concluded that extra-amniotic instillation of Rivanol is a safe and efficient method for induction of labor in missed abortion and fetal death. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
