Abstract
Hepatic encephalopathy is a disease seen in this country most often secondary to the ravages of alcoholic liver disease. Although its presentation may be acute, fulminant, and obvious, it can also occur in a more subtle and less virulent form. Early recognition and aggressive intervention may alter the course of this disease. Keywords
