Abstract
Although the blood histamine, which re. sides mainly in the granulocytes, is markedly elevated in chronic myelocytic leukemia, the fasting urine histamine is in the normal range. Either conjugation and urinary excretion is not the mechanism of removing the large amt. of blood histamine present in patients with chronic myelocytic leukemia or the life span of the leukocytes in this disease is markedly longer than current estimates of the normal leukocyte. Keywords
