Abstract
The earlier theory of quasi-static linear gradient chromatography with small sample loads is partially specified. On the basis of this study, the relationship between the theory of small load gradient chromatography and the approximate theory of overload gradient chromatography which was developed several years ago is also specified; this will promote a better understanding of the overload theory. Keywords
