Abstract
The polarized neutron data of Cox et al. on γ- are reanalyzed using the spherical harmonic expansion technique of Leoni and Sacchetti. The results are found to be in good agreement with the spin density derived from Gaussian atomic orbitals. Several errors in the work of Leoni and Sacchetti, as well as in the interpretation of neutron scattering measurements on α-, are discussed.
