Abstract
Problem of aggradation in a rectangular channel of finite length due to overloading of sediment supply is formulated in terms of a diffusion type of partial differential equation and suitable initial and boundary conditions are identified. Analytical solutions are presented for computations at large and small values of time. Keywords
