Abstract
An 18-40-GHz coaxial six-port reflectometer using four diode detectors is presented. The hardware configuration of the six-port junction as well as the linearization of diode detectors and the calibration of the six-port reflectometer are discussed. Absolute power measurements are not required during linearization of diode detectors. Comparison between experimental results obtained by both the six-port reflectometer and the Wiltron 360 Automatic Network Analyzer on a 3-dB attenuator terminated by a short circuit is presented. The reflectometer exhibits very good performance over the entire frequency band. Keywords
