Abstract
The solid phases of hydrogen sulfide under high pressures have been studied by the volume discontinuity method. Evidently two new solid phases have been observed. The natures of the freezing transition and the higher temperature solid‐solid transition are discussed, and the results are compared with the analogous case of water. Keywords
