Abstract
The transition out of the reproductive years can often be accompanied by uncomfortable and disruptive symptoms, one of the most common of which is hot flashes. Drs Morrissey and Kirchner describe this and other typical menopausal symptoms, as well as pharmacologic, hormonal, and lifestyle options that can bring relief and enable a smooth midlife passage. Keywords
