Abstract
The cyclotron-resonance mass of a quasi-two-dimensional electron gas in a single GaAs quantum well is investigated as a function of the magnetic field strength, the electron density, and the quantum-well width. The screening of the electron-phonon interaction is taken into account within the static random-phase approximation. The theoretical results are compared with available experimental data. Keywords
