Abstract
The two biologically distinct strains of murine cytomegalovirus, “Smith” and “K181”, showed slightly different restriction-endonuclease profiles; but we could not detect strain differences in the numbers or sizes of the major immediate-early, early or late viral proteins. It is possible however that some of the minor late proteins may differ. This publication has 29 references indexed in Scilit:
