Abstract
White rats were stimulated by the sound of an electric bell while housed in a small cage. Convulsive attacks were produced in a variable number of animals and in variable frequency. Susceptibility to convulsions is increased by training in a conflict maze situation using the Warner-Warden maze. Handling, continued repetition of the stimulus, and running as in an activity wheel decreased the number of convulsions. Intensity of stimulation increased attacks. Some of the difference in suscentibility seemed referable to constitutional factors. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
