Abstract
Singular vortex lines are predicted to occur in the rotating phase when the superfluid is confined in a parallel-plate geometry. A symmetry classification is introduced for the possible singly and doubly quantized axisymmetric vortices in - in terms of the separate symmetries of the vortex hard-core and soft-core matters.
