Crossover behavior of the specific heat and the nonordering susceptibility of the anisotropic Heisenberg ferromagnet

Abstract
Crossover scaling functions for the free energy and, hence, also for the specific heat and nonordering susceptibility in the bicritical region of a classical Heisenberg magnet with axial and rhombic anisotropic exchange interactions have been constructed by analysis of high-temperature series expansions. These results provide a basis for comparison with experiments on antiferromagnets near the spin-flop bicritical point.
