Abstract
In the circum-Pacific region 29 homotaxial datum planes have been chosen from the ranges of the Tertiary planktonic Foraminifera. Correlation of the datum planes is mainly dependent on the original geographic distribution of the species, the preservation of the fossils, and the accuracy of published information. Keywords
