Abstract
We report a case of acute hyperphosphatemia secondary to rectal administration of sodium phosphate and sodium biphosphate (Fleet enema). Parathyroid hormone and calcitonin levels were measured along with phosphate clearance and the tubular reabsorption of phosphate.Keywords
