Abstract
High resolution glass capillary gas chromatography and GC/MS were utilized to examine qualitative and quantitative variations from normal of urinary volatile metabolites of long-term alloxan and streptozotocin diabetic rats. Volatile metabolites were structurally compared with known neurotoxins to examine any possible relationship between these metabolites and the development of the diabetic polyneuropathy. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
