Abstract
In response to current developments in the tertiary education sector, the Queensland University of Technology Library has mounted an intensive course—Advanced Information Retrieval Skills—for higher degree students. In determining need for such a course, a survey of postgraduate students and their supervisors was conducted. Results of this survey are discussed and details of the four credit point subjects are outlined. Keywords
