Abstract
An indication of some of the ways in which bacteriophage may be employed as an aid in bacteriological and virological research. Topics covered include: the physical and antigenic properties of phage, the bacterial receptors and the phage-bacteria relationship, interference effect, use of phage in classification and typing of bacteria, phage mutations, biochemical studies, latent phages. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
