Abstract
Purified bovine prothrombin preparations may lose the property of clotting fibrinogen but retain esterase activity. It is likely that a single molecule possesses the 2 activities. When biothrombin has lost clotting activity and only esterase activity remains, it is called esterase thrombin.Keywords
