Abstract
The transport of farm animals has been the subject of much research in recent years. This paper reviews the past and recent scientific literature pertinent to the road transport of slaughter sheep. The state of knowledge is summarised and recommendations for best practice based upon this are given. Areas which require further work are also identified. Keywords
