Abstract
The case report of a 66‐year‐old female with a chemodectoma involving the nasopharynx was presented. The unusual initial presentation of ocular proptosis was described and the possible origin of this tumor from the paraganglioma ciliare in the orbit discussed. The histologic response to radiotherapy was demonstrated by photomicrographs. Keywords
