On the asymptotic form of wavefunction for the ionisation problem

Abstract
The connection of the asymptotic form recently obtained by Altick (1980, 1982) with earlier works on this problem has been considered. It is shown that the Altick asymptotic form represents the partial-wave expansion of the plane-wave asymptotic form.Keywords
