Abstract
A method has been described for anastomoses of blood vessels with silver clips, which can be applied rapidly with the aid of a small hemostat. Routine anastomoses have been prepared with this technique in dogs, rabbits and rats. Hemorrhage and thrombosis rarely occur even when the vessels are less than a millimeter in diameter. The technique has also proved useful for the preparation of Dacron aortic grafts in dogs; with plastic materials, the clips leave no puncture holes for the loss of blood. Keywords
