Abstract
Honeybee and bloom frequency were recorded in cage tests for 3 years to calculate the ratio of bees per 100 blooms under exclusion cages of 16 and 8 mesh, 16 mesh sideless shade, 16 mesh confinement cage, and on check and partially defruited check. Counts of heads, pods per head, and seeds per pod showed variations due to season and degree of pollination. Seed weight was also affected by pollination efficiency. Seeds per pod were used to evaluate treatments, but percentage of seedless pods could not be used. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
