Abstract
Asthma is currently recognized as a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways that leads to tissue injury and subsequent structural changes collectively called airway remodeling. Transgenic modeling of inflammatory mediators allows for the discovery of unexpected effects, dissection of downstream signaling events, and clues to future therapies. Keywords
