Abstract
An unexpected acceleration in elongation of Avena coleoptile segments has been observed with a position sensor transducer 2 to 2.5 h after excision when the segments are immersed in 5 mM succinate buffer (pH 6). The cause of the accelerated growth is unknown. Keywords
