Abstract
Polyhedral borane derivatives containing protein binding functional groups were synthesized. Problems encountered in earlier studies (low incorporation levels, gross precipitation of conjugates) were overcome by including a water solubilizing gluconamide group in the structure. This modification allowed high levels of B to be covalently bound to HGG [human .gamma.-globulin] forming a completely water soluble conjugate. These compounds may be transported into tumors via antibody carriers. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
