Abstract
Infection of L-cells with Mengovirus causes a marked decrease in the activity of DNA-dependent RNA-polymerase (aggregate-enzyme). A decrease in the enzyme activity was seen in in vivo nuclear RNA synthesis and in the activity of isolated nuclei or aggregate enzyme. Actinomycin inhibited DNA-dependent RNA synthesis in the aggregate enzyme fraction obtained from L-cells.Keywords
