Abstract
Thiocyanate space was detd. in 108 normal subjects and blood vol. in 50 of these. These values are presented in relation to physical indices of growth. The decrease of SCN space as percentage of body wt. occurs primarily in the 1st yr. of life. The significance of this change is discussed in rela-tion to total H2O and percentage of body fat. Keywords
