Abstract
The occurrence of Aspergillus parasiticus in the airspora of ten different indoor and outdoor environments in Calcutta (West Bengal) has been studied, using the culture plate method. The highest frequency was observed in the indoor environments which showed a gradual decrease with a gradual fall in temperature. Of the indoor sites, market place and godown, storing cereal grains, showed very high concentration of the spores of A. parasiticus, which produces aflatoxin causing health hazards. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
