Input impedance of coaxially fed rectangular microstrip antenna on electrically thick substrate

Abstract
Input‐impedance results for a probe‐fed rectangular patch antenna are presented, using a full‐wave spectral‐domain analysis. The source is modeled by a magnetic‐current frill and multiple modes are used in the probe surface current to account for axial and azimuthal variations.
