Abstract
A study is made of the interaction distance parameters from sharp and smooth cutoff analysis of elastic scattering data. These distance parameters are compared to interaction barrier parameters from analysis of total-reaction-cross-section data. A simple method is proposed for calculation of total reaction cross sections from the empirical parameters. Keywords
