Abstract
A thermogravimetric apparatus has been developed which can be operated at pressures up to 70 atm and 600°C. A microforce transducer is used as the weighing device and the heater is placed inside the pressure vessel. Thermograms for the oxidation and evaporation of a crude oil at 70 atm are given to show typical performances of the apparatus. Keywords
