Abstract
The amt. of dextrose emptied from the stomach was greater with large vols. of dilute dextrose solns. than with small vols. of concentrated solns., the amt. of dextrose fed being constant. The rate of absorption was somewhat greater from the more concentrated solns. of small vol. Emptying and absorption were greater from large than from small vols. of identical concn. Emptying and absorption were greater from concentrated than from dilute solns. of identical vol. Keywords
