Abstract
The far-infrared reflection spectra and transmission spectra of Se (x=0.18, 0.31) have been measured. Anomalous frequencies shifts of the MnSe-like optical phonons with the increase of composition x have been observed. The force constants of Mn-Se and Zn-Se have been obtained by fitting the experimental spectra with the random-element-isodisplacement model.
