Abstract
Gamone 1 of Blepharisma intermedium was isolated, identified as a slightly basic glycoprotein (mizoleclular weight, 2 x 105), and designated as blepharmnone. At the concentration of 6 x 10-8 milligram per milliliter, it specifically transforms matinig type 2 cells, so that they can conjugate in about 2 hours. Keywords
