Abstract
Evidence is presented that the increase in fibrinolytic activity produced by the intravenous injection of epinephrine in dogs is due to the vasoactive effects of epinephrine. A series of other drugs with vasoactive properties was found to increase fibrinolytic activity. On the basis of these data it is postulated that increase in fibrinolytic activity is mediated by a direct effect on the vessel wall or by increase in blood flow. Keywords
